Water Magician Dropped:

This story isn't going anywhere.  An overpowered mage wanders through human society with ease, and everyone is amazed by how strong he is.  Okay, so what?  There's nothing to see here.  There's already a million series just like it.

That brings the summer season down to 11 shows.

The Rewrite Harvest Festa minigame isn't as good as the dozen other games on my Playstation 5 I haven't started playing, so there's no point playing it.  As for Phantom Brave Lost Hero, I've made a little more progress.  I think I'm on Chapter 12?

As for the Noble Works visual novel, I finished the Akari route and started the Maya(?) route.  I have zero interest in Maya but after finishing all the other routes it seems a shame not to complete the visual novel.  It would also mean completing all Yuzusoft translated visual novels as a whole, a supercycle.  So I just need to chisel away at Maya every now and then, like I'm doing with Phantom Brave.

Most of the time isn't spent chasing these definable goals, though.  Instead I'm playing and refining my new Final Fantasy magic decks, which is an endless process.  It can suck up any amount of time and never be 'finished.'  I spent a lot of money on these cards, but the amount of enjoyment I'm getting is proportionate to that.  Actually it's going to end up a good deal, in terms of hours entertained to dollars.  So long as I have FF Magic to play, expect my posts to come infrequently and my achievements within said posts to shrink down to nigh nothing.

There is one important milestone coming up -- on the 25th the final chapter of Vinland Saga is supposed to be released.  This is an important series I've been following for years and the mangaka has been writing for decades.  It's nice to see something come to fruition.
