November Updates:

Kira Kira Precure a la Mode tv anime has been announced for the 2017-2018 season.  It's always nice to have more Precure coming down the pipe.  Unfortunately, despite looking and sounding fantastic, Mahoutskai Precure had a drab and derivative plot where essentially nothing new was said that a previous Precure series hadn't said before.  It was the worst Precure season ever.  If KiraKira wants to continue Precure in that tradition, I'd rather the series just ended.  But who knows, maybe they'll turn this ship around.  And maybe FF XV will be splendid.  There's always hope.

Code Geass is getting new material in 2017.  A trio of recap movies, which replaces their previous duo of recap movies made years ago.  What a waste of time.  But technically there is some new content that will be interspersed throughout these films so it will count as additional material to the series.  Not that I have any interest in watching it.  The anime was fine as is.

The new Card Captor Sakura anime will cover the new Clear Card hen manga, starting in January of 2018.  A sensible plan.

Nanoha Vivid has finally gotten a blu-ray disk release.  I have no idea why it took this long, but whatever.  Now we must undergo a second long wait for this blu-ray release to be subtitled into English.  At least now there's a chance.

The Ohio State - Michigan game was one of the best football games I've ever seen.  Closely contested until the very end, in double overtime.  That's how #2 vs. #3 should go.  Have I mentioned recently what a treat sports in 2016 have been?

Muv-Luv Extra + Unlimited finally has its true version (the 18+ version) translated and available for purchase.  I'm not sure if this is worth much without Alternative, the sequel which is truly acclaimed by the fans.  And that Alternative release will also have a long wait before the 18+ version is available.  So this is a step in the right direction, but I think Muv-Luv should remain on the backburner for at least another year.  There's plenty of other visual novels to focus on between then and now.

I'm nearly finished with Idol Mahou Shoujo Chiru Chiru Michiru, maybe by next week?  This will allow me to further cleanse my VN backlog and make some progress on some long delayed projects like Majikoi S.  Maybe some day I'll even have time for the likes of Muv-Luv.

I'm halfway through my Tales of Vesperia listening tour.  Next up is Vs.

From 3-6 fbs teams will have losing records but still get picked for a bowl game.  The addition of UAB and Coastal Carolina will help with this issue, but losing Idaho means not much will change.  There are too many bowl games compared to fbs teams, there's just no way around it.
